报告人简介：

Dr. Shi received the Ph.D.degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Alberta,  Canada, in 2005. From 2005 to 2009, he waswith the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Saskatchewan, Canada.Since August 2009, he has been an Associate Professor in the Department ofMechanical Engineering, University of  Victoria, Canada.

His current research interestsinclude networked and distributed systems, system identification, modelpredictive control, mechatronics, and energy system applications.

Dr. Shi received theUniversity of Saskatchewan Student Union Teaching Excellence Award in 2007, theFaculty of Engineering Teaching Excellence Award at the University of Victoriain 2012. He received the JSPS Invitation Fellowship (short-term), and was aVisiting Professor at the University of Tokyo in 2013. He iscurrently a senior member of IEEE, a member of ASME, and a registeredProfessional Engineer in British Columbia, Canada.
